LAUKE BAROSSA SOURDOUGH RYE
When baking bread or cakes in the oven it becomes critical that you have a good sunny day without haze or threat of clouds. If it is your first time, try to have the bread or cake in the oven by 10.30- 11am. As you gain experience, you will know if the day has “more cooking time” in it, but for things that need continuous even heat while they rise and set in their shape, starting early is a good policy. You do not need to worry about getting the oven to a set temperature, cooking happens and the bread or cake will not burn as the moisture is trapped in the oven.
